Traveling by public transportation has several benefits. It is often more environmentally friendly than driving a personal vehicle, as it reduces air pollution and carbon emissions. Public transportation also helps reduce traffic congestion and the demand for parking spaces in urban areas. Overall, using public transportation can be a convenient and sustainable option for many people. **

Both highways and public transportation should be expanded to meet the diverse needs of different communities. Highways are essential for providing efficient transportation for those who rely on personal vehicles, while public transportation is crucial for reducing traffic congestion, lowering carbon emissions, and providing access to transportation for those who cannot afford or do not have access to a car. By expanding both highways and public transportation, we can create a more balanced and inclusive transportation system that serves the needs of all individuals and communities. **

Public transportation should ideally be affordable for everyone, but making it completely free may not be feasible for many cities due to the high costs of operating and maintaining transportation systems. However, implementing reduced fares or subsidies for low-income individuals and families can help make public transportation more accessible. Additionally, investing in public transportation infrastructure and services can help improve efficiency and reduce costs, ultimately making it more affordable for all. **

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been traveling less with public transportation or the bus compared to a year ago. I have been trying to limit my exposure to crowded places and have been opting for other modes of transportation or working from home when possible. When I do use public transportation, I make sure to follow safety guidelines such as wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. **
